It is always kind of funny to run into friends from home when you are traveling. It was simply a coincidence that two families of good friends were planning to be in Oregon this week.
After a walk in the morning, we spent a few hours with Alison, Felicia, Aleyah, Rhys, and Marjorie. I gave them a farm tour and then we enjoyed some leftovers from last night’s party.
After that, they headed down the gorge for some sightseeing and a different view on their return to their timeshare in Welches.
We took a quick trip to town to run a few last minute errands for our trip and spent the remainder of the afternoon watching some Olympic trials we had recorded the night before and doing laundry.
We spent the evening enjoying the company of Kim, Charles, Connor, and Quinn! They have been on an epic road trip to Yellowstone and parked their trailer right in the driveway! Tomorrow we are headed up Mt. Hood for some adventures.
