Today I spent the day sharing and enjoying my favorite mountain with Tracy, Kim and her family. We started at Cloud Cap and were shocked by the past fire evidence. Then we went to Government Camp for lunch at the Mt. Hood Brewery and had trip down the alpine slides for dessert!
We finished our explorations at Timberline Lodge before heading home for a nap. My parents took us all out for a lovely dinner and we returned home where Tracy and I did our final packing and we all watched a movie. Kim has some amazing Tetris skills and I can’t believe the extra liquids she fit in my TSA approved pouch! She also helped me edit my clothing pile and figure out how many charging cables to bring.
It was a great day and I am eagerly awaiting our departure to Iceland tomorrow! It has been an absolute blast to be able to share my home town and family with so many people I love.
