After a leisurely drive up from Crater Lake, through Bend and Madras, we finally made it to Parkdale. The pesky mountain just wouldn’t cooperate and come out from the clouds for Tracy.
My niece Madison was at my parents’ house so we volunteered to take her to the barn to see her horse. She needed to ride him, feed him and clean the stalls. We stayed to help and Tracy even got his hands dirty with the poop rake and wheelbarrow.
We ended the very long day with a wonderful salmon dinner at home and fell asleep early.
