We woke up this morning without a real plan for the day. We mosied through breakfast at the cottage and did some laundry. Kelly found a basket of maps and our itinerary started to take shape. She found a map of a town called Ronda. It didn’t look too far away and if we added a few more roads we figured we could go in a nice circle. We had no idea how long it would take but didn’t really care.
After lunch we got back in the car and traversed over a foggy mountain to emerge at the Mediterranean coast. We saw everything from abandoned buildings to five star golf resorts. We caught a few glimpses of the rock of Gibraltar and started heading north. As much as we would all love another stamp in our passports we ruled out a trip to Gibraltar after reading that the lines of traffic are usually hours long.
