Copenhagen day 3

Today was another action packed day. We woke up late due to a long and fabulous food and wine filled evening. We actually missed breakfast at the hotel which was quite sad as the choices had impressed us yesterday. We hopped on the bus and made our way to “Blocs and Walls” a vey cool climbing gym on the edge of town.  Lorie and I met climbing so it is only natural that we take some include a couple of gyms on this adventure. We had to do a quick belay test and they climbed as long as our muscles could take it.

After our climb we hopped back on the bus to Nyhavn- a touristy area that is in all the photos of Copenhagen. There is a famous skinny canal flanked by beautiful colorful buildings.

We continued to wander the area and stopped at the LEGO store. I was disappointed they didn’t have anything different from what we can get at home- but it was fun to see the street I just took pictures of built from LEGO.

We ended our day at the food market and picked up some snacks for dinner. We are enjoying a quiet evening of journaling, packing, and laundry as we prepare for our train ride to Stockholm tomorrow.  In all it was a very wet but relaxed and fun day. I will return to Denmark- and it will be very soon. Copenhagen feels like the city I have been waiting to find.
